Trackdown Studios continues its collaboration with major international productions, recently hosting orchestral recording sessions for two major projects: 20th Century Studios’ survival thriller Send Help and Sony’s animated sports comedy GOAT.

Recorded on the renowned Simon Leadley Scoring Stage in Sydney, the sessions brought together leading composers, musicians, and production teams to capture large-scale orchestral scores for both films.

For Send Help, the original score was composed by Academy Award®-nominated composer Danny Elfman. Directed by Sam Raimi and starring Rachel McAdams and Dylan O’Brien, the film follows two survivors stranded on a remote island after a plane crash. The dramatic and suspense-driven orchestral score was recorded with the Sydney Scoring Orchestra at Trackdown, supporting Elfman’s powerful musical storytelling.

Trackdown also welcomed the music team behind GOAT, the animated feature from Sony Pictures Animation. The film’s score was composed by Emmy-winning composer Kris Bowers, known for his work across film and television. Bowers crafted a dynamic soundtrack blending orchestral scoring with contemporary influences to match the film’s fast-paced “roarball” action and emotional underdog story. Directed by Tyree Dillihay and co-directed by Adam Rosette, GOAT follows a determined young goat who dreams of competing in the high-energy sport of roarball in a world of elite animal athletes.

“These projects showcase the diversity of productions recording at Trackdown.”

“From Danny Elfman’s thrilling orchestral writing for Send Help to Kris Bowers’ vibrant and energetic score for GOAT, it’s a privilege to collaborate with composers and filmmakers bringing these stories to audiences around the world.”
