Trackdown is a multi-layered sound and post production facility. In addition to The Simon Leadley Scoring Stage (Australia’s premier purpose-built orchestral scoring stage), the versatile space also boasts a smaller scale recording studio and control room, mixing theatrette, and a range of hireable productions suites – allowing productions to host multiple departments under one roof.

With creative services led by Craig Beckett (Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, Marvel’s ‘Echo’ and ‘What if..?’, Diablo IV, Three Thousand Years of Longing) and Tim Ryan (Boy Swallows Universe, Mortal Kombat, Faraway Downs, The Great Gatsby), the Trackdown team have a wealth of experience on both local and international projects, covering everything from film scoring, sound design and mixing, ADR and foley recording, to music editorial, coordination, and supervision.

Trackdown’s facilities include Pro Tools edit suites, a 7.1 mix room, a 9.1.4 mix theatrette, Foley and ADR recording studios, and Australia’s only purpose-built orchestral scoring stage.

The facility also boasts 18 dry hire edit suites, allowing productions to house offices, editorial, sound and music departments all under one roof.
