The lot is secure with plenty of parking and ample space for construction of outdoor sets. The complex is at the centre of Melbourne’s film and TV precinct and is a dry hire facility, allowing productions to select from Victoria’s extensive services sector including lighting, camera and equipment hire, editing, VFX and post. Large enough to accommodate one of the biggest mini-series in history (The Pacific), Docklands Studios Melbourne attracts international and domestic feature films and TV with its enviable reputation for dedicated personalised service.
Stage 6 is under construction and due for completion in late 2021. At 3,700 sq metres (40,000 sq ft) this super stage will be comparable to the largest stages in the Southern Hemisphere.
