Founded in 2006, Resin is a boutique visual effects studio based in Adelaide, Australia, focussed on long-form television series and film VFX. Resin has been working internationally since 2010 for studios and networks including Disney, NBC Universal, Fox 21, Sony, Amazon, ABC, Roadshow, Ambience, Stan and Netflix.
Ausfilm Member since 2017

With a generalist heritage, the studio is versatile enough to tackle all facets of the VFX spectrum, from managing whole TV series and feature films to working in partnership with other VFX vendors.

Located in Adelaide, the studio expanded in 2018 to Brisbane, co-located with The Post Lounge, a full-service picture and sound post facility. Resin also has studio space accessible in Melbourne. Their Adelaide and Brisbane studios are certified by Disney, Fox and Sony and they were the sole vendor on the first Netflix Original produced in Australia. Their facilities run Technicolor certified monitoring with a direct fibre connection between locations allowing their teams to work seamlessly and easily expand to suit project needs.

Resin brings an agility that is needed to be successful in budget-sensitive film and episodic VFX production – often putting more on the screen for a given budget than their larger counterparts.
