The SAFC is a one-stop-shop for producers, offering funding for development and production as well as a 10% Post-Production, Digital and VFX (PDV) Rebate and 10% Video Game Development Rebate.
The SAFC also manages Adelaide Studios, a flexible production facility located just minutes from the CBD, co-located alongside a range of world class production, post-production and other screen businesses. Major productions hosted at Adelaide Studios include feature films Talk to Me and Bring Her Back from Danny and Michael Philippou, The Royal Hotel, The Stranger and Mortal Kombat, and series RFDS S3, Territory, Ladies in Black, Beep and Mort S2 and The Tourist S1.

The South Australian Government offers a payroll tax exemption to producers shooting feature films in South Australia. The incentive may reduce a project’s total payroll liability by up to 4.95%.
