Now in its 8th year, Ausfilm and Screen Australia’s China business development program Australia China Film Industry Exchange aims to connect Australian screen businesses (Ausfilm Members), Government screen agencies and Australian producers to Chinese screen executives and entertainment and media companies in China. This year’s program consisted of targeted meetings in Beijing and Shanghai and a networking event hosted by the Australian Deputy Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, Gerald Thomson in Beijing and a Shanghai networking event hosted by the Australian Consul General in Shanghai, Graeme Meehan.
