AUSFILM WEEK 2022
The annual Ausfilm Week was back in-person in Los Angeles in October 2022. The week's mission is to connect the Australian federal and state governments and Ausfilm's membership of screen businesses to studios and executives from the US film and TV industry.
Ausfilm Week was back in-person for the first time since 2019. The event is an exclusive program that takes place in Los Angeles which includes a series of targeted events and networking opportunities, enabling members to connect with the US production industry and strengthen their relationships.
Ausfilm delivered a program of events to promote Australia as a premier destination for physical production with adaptable locations and skilled crew along with world-class post-production and VFX capabilities.
The member’s delegation included executives and senior representatives from the Australian Government’s Office for the Arts, and Australia’s state screen agencies – VicScreen, Screen NSW, Screen Queensland and Screenwest. Screen businesses attending Ausfilm Week comprised Australia’s major studios; post, sound and music facilities; VFX and animation companies; and financial, legal and travel services.
