TAG has kicked off 2026 with a series of high-profile partnerships and industry moments, reinforcing its position as a leading travel provider to the production industry across Australia.

According to Alli Pratt, Director of Production, TAG APAC, the start of the year has been defined by strategic alignment with key industry events and organisations that sit at the heart of Australia’s production industry.

In February, TAG was proud to come on board as a preferred travel partner of the prestigious AACTA Festival, a five-day celebration of screen culture bringing together the industry’s leading talent across film, television and online content.

The TAG production team attended both the AACTA Awards Ceremony and Official After Party, widely regarded as Australia’s most respected celebration of screen excellence. The event honours standout creative and technical achievements, while spotlighting the depth of talent shaping the local industry.

The festival concluded with TAG hosting a stand at the Screen Careers Expo (SCE26), where the team connected with students, graduates and emerging professionals looking to build careers in the screen sector, an important investment in the future of the industry.

As with many areas of production, specialist travel coordinators remain few and far between. TAG was proud to engage with attendees interested in entering the travel sphere, particularly as many were unaware that this niche requires a unique combination of both travel expertise and film industry knowledge.

Looking ahead, TAG will continue its presence on the Gold Coast as the preferred travel partner for the Gold Coast Film Festival, taking place from 22 April to 3 May. The 12-day festival features a program of screenings, panels, industry events including the Women in Film lunch. This popular event includes a conversation with Sophia Zachariou (EP Scripted, BBC Studios Australia Productions), and Kylie Washington (EVP & Creative Director, BBC Studios Australia Productions), two of the most influential women currently shaping the future of screen content in Australia.  TAG are also proud sponsors of the Gold Coast Screen Professional of the Year Award and are excited to present it for the second year at the Awards Gala on the 23 April.

For the 3rd year in a row, Screen Producers Australia (SPA) has named TAG a finalist in the Services and Facilities Business of the Year category at the 24th Annual SPA Awards. The recognition reflects TAG’s work across major Australian productions, including Kangaroo, and builds on our previous win in this category.

The SPA Awards celebrate excellence across Australia’s screen production industry, with winners to be announced on 30 April 2026 on the Gold Coast as part of SCREEN FOREVER 40.

TAG continues to set the standard in production travel and is ready to support the evolving needs of both local and international productions across Australia.
