Rising Sun Pictures (RSP) is continuing to deliver work for clients, with many projects in different stages of production.

In this unprecedented time, the support and collaboration of studio and production partners is greatly appreciated. We will get through this together. More than ever, the industry needs to acknowledge our symbiotic nature and to take care of one another.

RSP’s objectives during this pandemic have not wavered; it is to ensure that we:

·       Protect our staff and their families

·       Ensure we deliver on our promise of quality work to our clients

As of Wednesday 25 March, RSP core production functions are operating within the office in Adelaide with most non-production staff working remotely. Our staff are ensuring strict social distancing practices and hygiene regimes, while we implement a remote transformation of our business. We have been thorough but timely in our remote configuration to ensure the best solution for both our staff and clients. The South Australian Government have been incredibly transparent with their actions and we feel well supported. We will continue to focus on transparency with key stakeholders while we adapt to our new norm.

Finally, I would like to take a moment to thank our often-silent crew; those that normally don’t get to share the credit at the end of a film, but without whom it would be impossible for us to operate. Thank you to the tireless work of our infrastructure, production technology and frontline teams, alongside our Heads of 2D and 3D, and our Head of Production, who are working incredibly hard to ensure that we can continue to operate and deliver for our clients.
