EX-DNEG & MILL FILM VFX PRODUCER SHARNA HACKETT APPOINTED TO NEWLY CREATED POSITION IN KOJO’S SYDNEY STUDIO

KOJO Studios is excited to announce the appointment of Sharna Hackett to the newly created role of Senior VFX & Post Producer based in their Sydney studio. She commenced her role with the company on June 6th.

Sharna is a highly experienced VFX producer who has spent the past 15 years working at VFX studios such as Animal Logic, Rising Sun Pictures, Mill Film and DNeg on a broad range of projects. Her credits include Blade Runner 2049, Love & Monsters, Hunger Games, Fast & Furious and Bourne Legacy.

For Sharna, this is a return to KOJO Studios where she was the company’s VFX Producer on Mortal Kombat. Her new role will see her work with Australian and international clients across scoping through bidding, production, post, VFX and final delivery including guidance on the Australian PDV rebates.

Sharna’s appointment is part of KOJO Studios’ national growth strategy as the company increases its presence and service offering on Australia’s east coast. With offices in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Perth and Brisbane; Sharna will oversee the post & VFX teams nationally along with the integration of workflows between the studios across the country.
