The annual Ausfilm Week once again brought together Australian industry leaders and US production partners and clients in Los Angeles for the 2025 edition. The program featured a series of targeted events and networking opportunities designed to showcase Australia’s world-class talent and capabilities while supporting ongoing creative partnerships between Australia and the United States.

From post-production, VFX and animation to production services and screen infrastructure, Ausfilm’s members demonstrated the breadth of Australia’s offering across the global screen industry. The week highlighted strong collaboration between the two markets and a shared ambition to deliver outstanding film and television projects.

The 2025 program included a range of networking events – providing ample opportunity for members to connect directly with US-based decision makers and industry peers across all stages of production.

The Australian delegation included executives and senior representatives from the Australian Government’s Office for the Arts, Screen Australia and Australia’s state screen agencies – VicScreen, Screen NSW, Screen Queensland, Screenwest and the South Australian Film Corporation. Screen businesses attending Ausfilm Week comprised Australia’s major studios; post, sound and music facilities; VFX and animation companies; and production services, financial, legal and travel businesses. Special guests included Tanya Bennett and Jason Potkins, reflecting strong government support for promoting Australia as a globally competitive production partner.
