WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE BEACH IN AUSTRALIA?

Casuarina Beach, because I grew up here in Darwin and I always went down to Casuarina as a young child. I still go down there now, especially for family gatherings and birthdays barbecues.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE CAFE AND/OR RESTAURANT IN AUSTRALIA?

Happy Garden, which is a Chinese restaurant here in Darwin. They’ve got many different areas situated in Darwin, including a cafe-style restaurant.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE AUSTRALIAN SLANG WORD?

Deadly. That’s what us Indigenous folk say.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE ACTIVITY TO DO IN AUSTRALIA?

Getting my camera and filming community events.

DESCRIBE WORKING WITH AUSTRALIAN CREWS IN FIVE WORDS.

Good. Great. Fantastic. Excellent. Beauty.

WHAT MAKES WORKING IN AUSTRALIA UNIQUE?

Just seeing all the different parts of the country, and the landscapes. When I worked on the productions of High Ground and Top End Wedding, they took us through Arnhem Land in areas where no one’s allowed to be in before. We had the traditional landowners there to be with us and they had given us their Welcome and permission to film in that area.
