KOJO SET TO EXPAND WITH SOLID PIPELINE OF WORK

KOJO’s post-production and VFX team have ramped up production on Australian and US feature films and television projects with the scope of work requiring KOJO to expand it’s Adelaide and Melbourne studios. KOJO moves to a new and larger studio on the fringe of Melbourne’s business district.

Included in the new studio are editorial suites, a data room and a DI theatrette. The new facility will be operational by December 2017, with KOJO looking to share current and future projects between it’s Adelaide and Melbourne studios.

Recent and current projects KOJO has worked on include:

Jungle
KOJO artists worked on a complex CG sequence for Greg Mclean’s new film, Jungle starring Daniel Radcliffe, which premiered at the opening night of the Melbourne International Film Festival.

Storm Boy
Starring Geoffrey Rush and directed by Shawn Seet. KOJO is delivering data and editorial with DI and set to finish by early 2018.

The Nightingale
Directed by Jennifer Kent (The Babadook), this film recently wrapped on principal photography in Tasmania with KOJO’s Marty Pepper on set as VFX Supervisor. Currently, in picture edit, KOJO will complete post-production in the new year.

Hotel Mumbai
Director Anthony Maras’ epic story of true events surrounding the Taj Hotel terrorists bombing in 2008, starring Dev Patel (Lion).  KOJO is the full-service post studio delivering data, editorial, DI, VFX, sound and final delivery.

Mother
The sci-fi thriller will commence shooting in South Australia in October with KOJO undertaking post-production.

Wolf Creek Season 2
DOP Geoff Hall is looking to collect another ACCTA for Best Cinematography in TV, after winning a gong for the first series. Currently, in post-production on season 2 for Aussie streaming provider STAN. Produced by Lisa Scott and Greg Haddrick with Marty Pepper and Geoff teaming up again to bring the Greg Mclean franchise to the screens in 4K.
