Lucinda (she/ they) holds a Bachelor of Animation from Swinburne University, Honours in Animation from Victorian College of the Arts (University of Melbourne), and a Character Animation diploma from GobelinsL’Ecole de l’image.
They have a keen involvement in local animation events, screenings and volunteering within the industry. Their most recent accolade being awarded the popular vote at Loop de Loop in 2024, for a 2D animation for the theme of ‘Supermarket’.
Since graduating, Lucinda has worked on animated projects such as Wildbrain’s season 3 of Boy and Dragon. As well as working with local clients such as a character animation with Animunch, and motion graphics/ video editing for the Australian Youth Orchestra, Lucinda always has animation on the mind.
Outside of work they’re busy creating animations of the Melbourne University Women’s Soccer team, where she is Captain, or getting her favourite storyboards immortalised in ink on their body.
They are currently in early production of their next short film Striking a Balance, a 2D animated work that dives into the world of the Melbourne Women’s Soccer state league.
