In 2024 Jane was selected to undertake the Aardman Academy’s “In Studio Stop Motion Course”. While undertaking the course, she directed and animated her first animated short – Guts. Guts has since been selected for two BAFTA Qualifying Festivals: London International Animation Festival where it was shown in the British showcase on the opening night; and the Brighton International Animation Festivals as part of the “New Generation” programme. Jane comes from a technical background, being a software engineer for most of her career but has since made the switch to animation full time.
