Barbara Stephen, President of Flying Bark Productions, has 20+ years experience in the entertainment industry. She manages the studio’s global operations and has been key to its success. Flying Bark has produced series like Marvel’s What If…?, 100% Wolf, and is working on an animated Stranger Things (Netflix) and Ghostbusters series (Sony/Netflix), and an Avatar Last Airbender film (Paramount). Barbara fosters a creative and collaborative culture and empowers industry professionals. Her leadership has earned her the NSW Women in International Business Award in 2016 and 2024, and the company has won multiple Emmy, Annies, KidScreen, innovation and creative excellence awards. Barbara serves on various industry boards, including the Women in Animation (WIA) Board, and previously served as the Screen Producers Association’s Vice President and Counsellor.
