Executive Vice President / Director of Production

Alexia Gates-Foale is the Executive Vice President / Director of Production at Flying Bark Productions, overseeing all projects on the slate, and producing an array of the studio’s original content.
The company is currently working on the highly anticipated animated Stranger Things series (Netflix), an animated Ghostbusters series (Sony/Netflix) and an untitled Avatar: The Last Airbender feature film (Paramount).

Lex is currently producing the animated adaptation of Shaun Tan’s Tales from Outer Suburbia, premiering at the 2025 Annecy International Animation Film Festival, as well as Zac Power, an Australian feature film based on the iconic book series.

Other producing credits include feature films 100% Wolf and 200% Wolf, the series FriendZSpace (ABC Me), Maya the Bee Movie, Blinky Bill: The Movie, and the AACTA-nominated series, The Wild Adventures of Blinky Bill (Network 7).

Lex has also overseen production on projects including LEGO’s Monkie Kid franchise, Nickelodeon’s Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Marvel’s What If…?, and Disney TV Animation’s Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, which won multiple Emmys, Annie Awards and Kidscreen Awards.
